A haze of bohemia at Haider Ackermann AW 2015
It was a dandyish fantasy that was enshrouded in aubergine and forest green hues. Velvet, animal print and leather modernised Beau Brummell's aesthetic.
The silhouettes were extreme, the proportions intense, the layering chaotic. The only thing that doesn't quite sync with my mind is the presence of girls on the menswear runway.
Apart from that, it was an entrancing collection that was rich in fabric and dark in palette. And this is something that Ackermann knows how to sell.
